Data Storage
All your resume data is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. No personal data is sent to or stored on our servers. Your resumes, personal information, and photos never leave your device unless you explicitly use the AI improve feature.
AI Improve Feature
When you use the "Improve with AI" button, the text you select is sent to an external AI service for processing. Only the specific text snippet is sent — no other resume data, personal information, or identifiers are included in the request. The AI service does not store your text after processing.
Hidden Ink Feature
The CV Builder includes an optional "hidden ink" feature that can embed invisible ATS keywords into generated PDF files. This text is rendered in a non-visible color within the PDF and never leaves your browser. No hidden ink data is sent to any server. Use of this feature is at your own discretion and risk.
Cookies & Tracking
We use a session cookie (empire_session) set by auth.weekend-empire.com for authentication. No tracking cookies are used. We do not collect analytics, browser fingerprints, or use any form of user tracking.
Photo Storage
If you upload a photo, it is resized client-side and stored as a base64-encoded string in your browser's localStorage. The photo is never uploaded to any server.
PDF Generation
PDF files are generated entirely in your browser using @react-pdf/renderer. No data is sent to any server during PDF generation or download.
GDPR
All data is stored locally in your browser. No personal data is collected, processed, or stored on our servers. Since we have no access to your data, there is nothing to export or delete on our end — you have full control via your browser's storage settings.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored in your browser, you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage or using the delete buttons in the application. Clearing browser data or using a private/incognito window will also ensure no data persists.
